What is SNAG?
SNAG falls somewhere between miniature golf and regulation golf. Developed
by former PGA Tour players, SNAG contains all the basic elements of golf,
but in a modified form. SNAG adds fun to the learning and playing
experience by utilizing simplified rules and terminology. SNAG offers full
shots, chipping and putting. The SNAG ball has a limited distance with the
average player hitting it a maximum 50 yards.
HOW
do you play?
SNAG utilizes 2 clubs: the Launcher, used to hit, pitch and chip the ball.
And the Roller, used to roll the ball in the "short stuff". All
shots other than putting are played off a small rubber mat called the
Launch Pad. The SNAG ball is slightly smaller than a tennis ball and is
covered with loop material. The target is called the Flagsticky, which is
made of a hook material. Unlike golf where you finish out by putting into
a hole, in SNAG you SNAGout by sticking your ball to the Flagsticky.
In addition to the SNAG
basic equipment, there are training tools and targets that makes learning
as much fun as playing. SNAG will be used for Junior lessons and clinics
and is a great party idea. Call for details. Click
